A piece of good news

The most noticeable news that you could find everywhere this month should be that the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank, AIIB, is being founded. Like other international or regional financial institutions, the AIIB will be backed by diverse governments, but what makes AIIB distinguished is that it is initiated by China, plus the founding members of AIIB include not only Asian countries, but also developed countries like UK, Germany, France and Australia, almost all the vital economic entities are in except US and Japan.

US and Japan are quite negative about AIIB, it is understandable, because they don’t want China to be the leader of a significant international institution. But this is a trend that they can’t stop, AIIB will provide money to the infrastructure construction in Asian developing countries, and Asia is such a big potential market, so all the founding members could find their interests here, so they are willing to be part of it.

It is said that China might occupy the majority of share in AIIB, which is the biggest attraction to every founding member as well as the largest concern of US and Japan. China will show its economic power? Yes. China would be more influential in Asia? Yes. So what? Most of people get benefits, it has been predicted that with the assistance of AIIB, Asia could build more high speed railways, more airports, and more irrigation systems, which can stimulate the regional economy to a large extent.So I suppose the founding of AIIB is definitely a good news.
